Responding to COVID
As COVID began to shut down live events, local event newsletters became less relevant for subscribers. To send the most relevant content, I redesigned the email to include featured events, articles, apps, and a selection of virtual and upcoming events (in-person events later in the year that athletes could begin training for).
We also took advantage of real estate to feature our own apps, guides, and the Advantage program which became increasingly useful during a time many users were stuck at home.
