Streamlining the search process
The goal of this page was to make browsing through search results as easy as possible. To support this goal, a card layout was chosen which included images when available. It helps separate list items and can give the user visual clues about each listing.
The user can also switch between events, articles, and organizers in the filters to narrow down what they are looking for. Standard “sort by” options allow even more control.
Just like the home page, we also wanted to support ad revenue and Active Advantage trials. While searching is the main focus, there is also a sticky filter/Advantage ad for quick access and to entice users with $10 off their event. Native ads throughout search results allow for placements that aren’t obtrusive or in the way of the main task.
Sections for trending articles and popular topics allow users to explore more as they search for information and advice.
