Brand Structure

Ensuring brand consistency across a large organization can be daunting. It’s not just designers who touch client-facing collateral, but Marketing, Sales, executives, partners, and more. It’s important to have a reference point that everyone can access and utilize to help create the consistent brand voice we all desire.

For this project, I collected collateral and design systems from across Active and compiled them into one document that could be distributed across the company. This included typography for print and web, templates I created for feature sheets and white papers, and more.

I also included template walk-throughs, created guidelines for the use of logos, colors, photography, and copy, and laid out trademark and copyright information.

Distributing this document across the company helped reduce the asks of design (that had been cutting into time dedicated to revenue-creating projects) and created a clear framework that we could revisit when giving feedback on image choices, typography, etc.
